IntelliDrive Educational Materials
This presentation begins with brief background information regarding the safety and operational efficiency of the existing transportation infrastructure, providing motivation for the need for IntelliDriveSM in order to more efficiently and effectively use our existing transportation network to optimize safety and mobility. This is followed by a brief introduction to the concept of IntelliDriveSM, including a broad overview of what it is and how it works.

The results of some preliminary research are presented, along with the results of the Proof of Concept testing which occurred in metro Detroit. Potential applications are presented, in particular those applications that may be possible in the areas of safety, mobility, and commercial applications. Finally, the future opportunities and possible directions for IntelliDriveSM are discussed, along with references where interested parties can obtain additional information.
